Help with a few rifles please

I am looking for a little help I came into possession of two rifles. Rem 40x in 222 old style safety, and a 1948 win 70 in 257 Roberts. I am looking for a value on these rifles if anyone has an idea. Both I will say are 80% or better. I wasn’t sure where to post this hope it’s in the right spot. Thanks for any help

Pics would help. This is a good spot. Also, try a search in the classified section for the 40x. By my somewhat questionable memory, I think a 40x in 222 was recently sold. Last month or two?
I think I read a post about a guy wishing for a 257 Roberts. Read thru “Guns I wish I never sold “ or “Guns I want to own”

I bought a 40x in 223 about 6 months ago for ~$1000. It had been pillared and bedded and had a Triggetech aftermarket trigger. Bore is in good shape, so it doesn't have a high round count.
