Help with 7-08 AI loads

Help with 7-08 loads,
I am having a Rem 700 7-08 opened up to AI by Bobby Hart, any suggestions for 140 gr loads, i intend to use it for mule deer and possible elk

It has a 24" bbl.

46.3 grains of varget under a 140NBT works great in my buddy's 708AI. He has a 26" tube and by all accounts its a "fast" barrel. I would back that charge off and use 140NAB and work up. Normally for the AI starting a tad under book max for the std version and working up will get you there. But the 140NAB and varget should be a great combinatiopn. H-4895 is also another powder to look at. Lots of folks like the RL powders but i find their temp sensitivity a real turn off.
