If they don't have it, they can make it.

I have used their bullet sizing dies in 0.510", and they are very good.

Re: Help please....

I realize you are from france but over here we call them bullets and if you use the word you use and call them you will get flagged by the nsa so just call it a bullet.

Re: Help please....

Not to thread jack, but is there an advantage to sizing bullets down over buying them from someone like Schneider's? How does Swagging them down affect accuracy?

EDIT: Jon, you don't think we are ALL flagged by the NSA just for visiting sites like this?

Why would you want to make them .221?

The real 5,45x39 has a 0.221" bore. Them damn Rooskies just can't do anything like the rest of us :(

Seems a mite peculiar that a rifle with with a .221" bore would shoot well with .221" diameter warheads. Do the warheads swell enough to fit the grooves?

NSA or not, I'm not ready to concede my God given and guaranteed by the first ammendment to the Constitution of the United States rights.

The bore size is defined as the major diameter (the grove diameter).

Barrels for the 223, 22-250, .220 Swift, etc, are referred to as .224" bore... the minor (land) diameter might be 0.219", 0.220", etc

Still seems a mite confusing; maybe someone should straighten out JGS, my reamer print for my 6.5x47 Lapua shows the "BORE SIZE" to be 0.2560".

There is a big difference between technical drawings, and common conversational usage of words. People do not use the land diameter to discribe barrels in conversations on non-technical usage.

But you are free to call it what you like.

Of course, you might go the full distance and be real accurate and describe both the land AND grove diameters when you are describing a gun barrel.

Well, I guess that just shows my ignorance. I'da thought a discussion about "a recalibration of the warhead at .223 to .221" was a technical conversation.
