Help pick out a Case trimmer for br brass

Which case trimmer from Bass pro will trim br brass best. Rcbs, Hornady,or Lyman?
Those are the ones in my budget.
Will trimming brass help groups?
Iv never trimmed brass and have noticed my brass does have irregularities in length, shoulder's are same.

I have a Wilson and it works great! It's the one operation I hate in reloading. I started using the Lyman Expess, and don't mind it as much anymore.

You would be better served by getting the actual "measured length" of YOUR chamber. Most chambers are cut about .020 "longer that the max trim length.
Get that measurement and you may be surprised to find that you might not have to trim. And it depends on the type od sizing die you use.
Precision Bushing Bump Dies won't let the case OAL grow.
Got BR brass with 20 to 25 resizes and still no reason needed to trim. ;)

See, that right ther. Has got me wondering if I need to anyway.
How do you make a chamber cast?
That's what your talking about right?
To find the chamber max length?

chamber cast with Cerrosafe (Brownells)

Then buy a Wilson. I like mine on a stand and a Shark fin lock. I wish I had the micrometer, but I saved $ by making a "trim to" dummy case for every cartridge I shoot and trim, so I set it to the dummy case and away I go.

I bought my Wilson on eBay, don’t get in a hurry to buy and there are great deals to be had. Mine is the micrometer adjustment model with the stand, like new condition. I gave $100 for it.

Cheap, easy and effective gizmo to do what you need.

I just bought a Hornady off the Sale board for $50. I spent another $50 on shell holders. Nice little trimmer for small batches of brass. I load a lot of 223 and 308, i.e. thousands. I bought the World’s Finest Trimmer for those. If you’re only doing one cartridge, buy a Worlds finest Trimmer and a cordless drill.80333DBE-0C43-41FB-BE38-04A46C982924.jpeg

Wow! I asked the the right people then.
Worlds finest, Wilson, or the Hornady.
I'm doing one cartridge.
If I get worlds finest trimmer for 6bra
Could it do 22bra as well?

My m opinion..trimming all cases even to start with is necessary for neck tension. My opinion if you follow the advice if not trimming, your bbl could be burned out before the cases ever reach the length you are being told. Find the shortest case after resize and trim them all to the length. The first bbl crown is the mouth and neck of the brass, the muzzle crown is second if you want to look at that way.
