Help needed .223 for 1000 yard shooting

Have a 700 40xb action at smith's for new barrel any suggestions would be nice.
Going to shoot 80gr Sierra.s or others, barrel will be chambered long to get max powder in case.

What Lenght 26" to 31" I have been told that the .223 burn most or all powder in a 26" barrel ?? and I might be loosing FPS by going longer

Twist 1/8 1/7 or other ??

any advise would be nice

Have you given any thought to a 223 AI version? I am having one built now with a 30" barrel in 7 twist, if you are just going to shoot prone why not get all the velocity possible from a 223 platform.

Longone it would be nice to have the A, but i wouldn't be allowed to use it, the F class in Canada and England are for the .223 rem only. max gr of bullet is 80gr but that could change this year to 90gr
