Help mounting a scope. Bucks PA

New young shooter trying to get into precision shooting. Just bought a savage f Class and 36x weaver and need some help mounting it. Looking for some help getting into the sport from someone local to bucks pa. I am a member at bcfg. Thanks for all of your help and responses.

Do you have a Picatinny rail to mount on the receiver? Did your scope come with rings?

Came with a 20 moa bench source and I got burris rings.

1st check that your base (if it hasn't been mounted yet) doesn't rock on the receiver. Hold the base lightly against the front receiver ring and see if there is any downward movement when you push down at the rear of the base....Do you have the Burris "Z" rings?
