I have decided on a custom 40x. Got a steal of a price and will not name names he is a very busy man and a hell of a shooter. Thank you, you know who you are that set me up with him.

It is not finished yet but should have it within a month. Shillen barrel, McMillan BR stock, and a tuner. Not sure if it is a worked factory trigger or a aftermarket unit, either way if its not good enough a aftermarket 700 trigger is abundantly available.

Time to buy a real target 22 for rimfire f class mostly and the william buck memorial 50 yard indoor second.

I spent way to much on a savage that may eventually shoot but till then help me pick a rifle.

Budget 1600 ish definitely would love to spend less and yes used is my first option.

I have 1k in my wallet and working on another 1200 with deals in the works.

I want 3" forearm and parallel butt stock. If a rifle doesnt have those or close the cost of a stock and bedding will need included in price.

New CZ 457 Varmint MTR is worth a look! Mine is very accurate with Lapua Midas+ , shot 1196-73X first match out of the box!

Now they need to put them in a 3" forearm parallel butt stock and its looking mighty tempting. This is what i got less the glass. Its the blue stocked on in the middle.

I believe those are Morr Accuracy Offset rings. Designed to allow solid mounting with the scope offset (for a right handed, right eye dominant shooter) that will allow the shooter to use the scope without straining to keep their cheek away from the stock aka free recoil.

I have a new CZ-455, with a Kreiger barrel in an MDT LSS chassis. Magpul Prs butt stock, ergo grip stock is crerekoted Battleship Grey and action is NRA Blue Butt stock and grip are black.

I picked up this mueller 40x56 scope for 218 shipped to try, I really wanted a weaver t36 or sightron 36x. I bought the bkl rings to mount it.

I picked it up from my ffl today and mounted the glass. Going to the 50 yard indoor range tomorrow morning.

Im going to make a aluminum butt plate for it tonight.
