I will be having a barrel chambered in 6.5 x 47, and would like a thumbs-up or suggestions to ensure I am on the right path.  
Use: Non-competition bench target shooting at 100 and 300 yards, rarely (but hopefully more often), at 600 and 1000.
Proposed Barrel Spec:

Proposed Barrel Spec:
- Brand: Krieger, Brux, Bartlein, etc, cut-rifled barrel.
 - Contour:  MTU or something with a muzzle diameter of 0.875" or so.  
 - Length: 24" - 26".
 - Bullets: 120 - 130 grain bullets.
 - Twist: 1:8 twist (considering 1:8.5).
 - Chamber Neck Diameter: 0.0295" (open to revision. Not turning Lapua brass).
 - Chamber Freebore: I don't know!
