Depending on your rifle and game. I would have no use for anything more than a duplex/German #1/#4 for coyotes out to 300 yards. I just returned from northern AZ and I took two rifles coyote hunting, a 20P with a Leupold VX-3 1.75-6x32, more than enough for coyotes and a 222 Rem/12ga combo gun that shoots sub MOA with a Leupold Freedom 1.5-4x20 with Pigplex for closer in and fast acquisition but still can reach out there.
