Depending on ur taste, but i love my bolt action. I prefer bolt action vs AR.How’d the build come out? Im debating a 20 practical bolt or ar build
Check out the post on the previous page "What makes a AR accurate" by Robert WithleyI'm not a AR guy but I bought a Les Baer AR in .204 and it's shoots. I didn't know AR's could be that accurate.
Trying to sort through the never ending AR part choices is overwhelming.
Good luck and I' m looking forward to your results.

I might get flamed for this, but in general, a 300 BO is not a very accurate cartridge ESPECIALLY if you're talking about supersonic load from an AR. They are "accurate enough", but not something that most people will brag about. I've had multiple 223 Wylde uppers that produce lots of sub 1/2 moa groups, and my 6.5 Grendel upper will do likewise. I DO prefer a bolt action, but for a 20 Practical PD gun out to 400 yds or so, I'm going to go with an AR for the sake of volume, and then something like a 22BR, 22 ARC, or 22 Creedmoor for more reach.Im more of a bolt guy also, I have a 300blk ar that I built and am not a fan of so was considering swapping barrels to 204 since I had all the parts. But ultimately I think id prefer a bolt gun in a 20 cal
Yah goal for the 300 was quiet… in an ar it did not meet expectations. So prob going to get a new barrel for it in something else. Might just set parts aside for now and decide at some other point in time.I might get flamed for this, but in general, a 300 BO is not a very accurate cartridge ESPECIALLY if you're talking about supersonic load from an AR.
