Help interpreting borescope pictures

Brownell recently had a sale going on for Teslong borescopes so I bought one. I'm having a problem interpreting the pictures I'm getting from a rifle I recently bought. I plan on using the action for another project but the rifle shoots pretty good. The view with my new borescope show the barrel to be horrible! So I performed 2 sessions of Thoroclean & then 2 sessions of Kroil/JB spending the good part of an afternoon scrubbing on it. Looks much better now but can someone interpret these black blotches in these pictures? Is this carbon? I ran some Butch's Bore Shine through it but no change. Can it be removed with a chemical cleaner? Your comments & suggestions are most appreciated.
