Barrel checks out as 1-10”,only marks on barrel is 308 win.Alot were built 1-14" for the 168's, then it went to 1-13" for the 155's which I guess this one is, any barrel markings or smith effects price

I’m not aware of any xtc matches in my area and short range benchrest has got me hooked. I’d have to find the old lady a second job so I could afford another shooting sport. What are you going to do with it? Take up Across the Course shooting for sure. Rapid fire with stripper clips is a hoot!!
Bedding looks amazing and action fits tight enough that I was looking for a third screw. Very possible that it’s Alex’s work. They look like Alex Sitman’s work. Should you be able to remove the action from one of them (it’s difficult to remove the action from a Sitman bedded stock) the bedding will be perfect.
I’m not an expert on Tubb stock design. They do look like 200/300/600yd XTC stocks as stated above.
St. Louis area. What part of MO you in? Bucksnort near Marshall runs several matches each year. Several other ranges have reduced course matches.
