I recently purchased a sako in .222 Remington. Serial # 174xxx I would appreciate any help figuring out when this gun was manufactured and current value. It seems to be in really good condition. Hopefully this thing is a shooter. Thanks for any help

PS. Tue Value of the Sako 222 is $1000.00 to $1100.00 in my estimation, as this rifle looks to be VERY clean and unaltered.

Based on the squared forearm, rubber butt pad, rubbed oil finish and barrel mounted rear sight blade, I believe it is a Sako L491.
