Help Identifying a Smallbore Target Stock

PNW Skipper

Silver $$ Contributor
Trying to identify the maker of the pictured stock. I know of three rifles with thumbhole stocks with this distinctive carved swirl pattern. Two are Remington Model 37's, one a Winchester Model 52.

Some features on both suggest a 1950 - 1970's vintage, but a similar swirl was seen on differently configured US target smallbores as early as the 1930's. The swirl pattern may derive from those seen on Swiss schuetzen rifles.

Any help appreciated.
