Help Decide on 21st Century Arbor press

Need a new arbor press cuz my ancient one is a pile of junk. Trying to decide between the standard 21st Century Arbor press and the New Generation 21st Century arbor press. I know the New Gen offers a big advantage with leverage and wear properties, but the standard is more efficient with real estate on the bench. Not sure if I need the extra leverage because I won't be neck sizing or decapping. Just seating bullets in a 20 TAC and 243 LBC Turbo 40 ('dasherized' PPC). But maybe the New Gen is still the way to go? Not sure. Some experienced insight on those presses would be appreciated. Not really interested in the New Gen Hydro press. Thank you.

I had the Sinclair with brass gears like the standard 21st arbor press. I switched to to the new gen 21st and really appreciate not having gears. More leverage equals better feel when seating bullets. Worth the $30 for me.

Was not aware gears are brass. I want something that will last for a very long time. Brass is not the best metal for wear and tear. 'Feel' when bullet seating is also important to me. Thats the main reason i hate my current arbor press (plus horizontal aligement is off from base to bottom of arm) Now leaning more towards the New Gen. Probably get the extended base too so I don't have to bolt it down. Thank you.

If you are looking at a 21st Century press why not go with the Hydro bullet seater ?

Don't need the added cost of hydro seater. If the tension varies enough where I can feel it with the ram handle, I'll raise my brow and probably set the round aside. If I cant 'feel' it, then its probably not enough difference to worry about. Really dont care about knowing the exact pressure.

So I ordered the New Gen arbor press this weekend. Like the leverage advantage, no gears, and the fact that pdog stated it provides more feel. I'm sure I'll be happy with it as I am with all products from John.

Thanks for the help :)
