Help choosing new scope

At 600 yds i almost never dial past 35 however at a 1000 its a different story. I like to dial up to 45 and the back down as the ground starts to heat up with mirage...but Im still glad i have 50 if I need it especially first string
in the morning when its cool out...Thats when you can use all the power available.
if you get a chance, take a peek through an sved, it will GREATLY reduce the amount of mirage you have to deal with. and tis extremely clear, bright, holds poi, and plenty of eye relief. if you can handle the weight the only decision left is whether or not the price is right!! and lance on here can help with that ;)

The thing with scopes is everyone has different eyes..meaning that what looks great to me,
may not be exactly whats prescribed for your eyes.Unfortunately its trial and error with a
hefty price tag..The more scopes you can spend time behind the better before dropping
a chunk of coin. I may get rid of my NF-Comp for the Sightron SVED...or not??? decisions..$%#@*
Need to borrow one first...somewhere.

Kinda like IWB holsters.
Person can go nuts trying to find the one that fits them.
And ya can't really take one home & try it for a week before ya buy it.

I think the dots are 1/16 and a 1/8...so either will work..( smaller is better for me )
It obscures less of the POA. Also have a Sightron with no dot, just fine cross hair.

I have a handful years old sightron 6-24ffp... mine does not have the zero stop, I see the new ones do. Is the glass the same? Or did they change it? I also have an leupold lrp, I really like the glass... pb a little better than the sightron, but I like the sightron reticle a little better...
