Help choosing 20 moa rail and rings please

I have a savage lrp in 260 going to put sightron s3 10-50 on it. Shooting will be from 100 to 1000 yds. Steel or aluminium?
What height of ring? I just want reliable not most expensive.

Look at Seekins Precision for both. Steel or aluminum doesn't matter. Quality matters as there is good and bad steel and good and bad aluminum. Seekins is quality aluminum. Been using them since 2005 and never an issue.

I think EGW makes some great bases for the money.

On my Savage I have used Weaver 20moa bases for years with no issues. Across the board I like the Weaver 6 screw tactical rings. The medium height works just right for that scope. Solid products for a moderate price.

I use nightforce or EGW base and Burris XTR signature series rings... they will allow you to get another 40 moa of elevation should the need arise...
