What I ordered for the v block is actually a rem 700 repeater. It has the cutout
Had a tangent going here, the action I'm using for this build is a older savage tactical with flat back. They did start making a v block for savages. For the follower, yes, I am going to glue in a single shot follower
What type of stock do you have? Laminate or a fiberglass I wouldn't do the block unless you wanted to run different actions on it. Factory, ya maybe, I'd fill mag cutout with epoxy with high build filler. Give something to machine out for block
But again. More fellas here with more experience, might ask them. Just trying to help
