Help - Bedding Job - is it ok

I would scrape a little compound off the side that is touching. Shoot it and see how it does. Should make it go in and out of the stock easier as well.

I have seen worse shoot very well, but Id re-bed.

Would you suggest grinding out the all the existing bedding or just skim that area?

You really need to grind it out to do it right.
