Hell of a Christmas present this morning..

What a coincidence!
Santa got me the same thing!
(Along with a case of Midas+ also)
Supposed to arrive Wednesday hope my rifles like it, if not I have people who will take it off my hands.;)
That's the hardest part - it's breezy and very cold here this time of year, so I don't anticipate doing any real testing until spring. Wind is one challenge, but 22LR simply doesn't shoot the same in cold.

If you knew they where comming and you orderd them yourself not much of a Christmas present that is just a regular consumer purchase.

Now if your wife or son or daughter had gotten you them and it was a total suprise then sure!

Showcasing that you can afford 5 barrels at one time from Brux is just braging at this point. Since short of putting them on credit most people can not afford 5 Brux barrels at one time. Just purchasing food for Christmas dinner came to $199 for me. I could still see through the bottom of the cart. Conservaticely you spent $400 x 5 so $2000 before shipping and tax on just barrels for yourself.

It is a bit insensitive to the plight of many at this time of year that can barely heat their home and keep the lights on or are savign up for 1 barrel!

Happy for you though! Always great to get a barrel in the mail safely! I can not even imagine getting 5 at one time though.
$2000.00 for barrels for YOURSELF? Not a problem.:cool:You're only going around one time (unless you're Shirley Maclane) and you can't take it with you unless you change it into Travelers Checks. Better enjoy what you've got!!
Me? Just cut a check just shy of $20.000,00 for a new roof and gutters for me and mine so I won't be going up top for any repairs for another 30 years. One less thing to think about. ;)
Whatever it is you do, enjoy it!! :D:D

I'm a disabled Marine vet and have been saving and selling off stuff for an long time so I could afford to buy 5 barrels at one time, don't have any family to support, so any money I can come up with is spent on whatever I feel like.. Total cost with shipping was $1800.00..
Sorry if what I did upset you, and hope you have a nice Christmas...
Like it's anybody's business but YOURS!! You just keep on keeping on. We KNOW the REAL YOU!! :cool:And that's MR. Bruce to anybody that cares. ;):D

I believe this post qualifies you as a fool.
Or just a very sad envious person.
It seems like you spend most of your time on here telling other people what’s wrong with them, and why they are wrong. Unless you’ve learned how to walk on water, might be time to work on yourself?
Either way I’m sure there are more appropriate
forums for the discussion you want to have.
Sorry for the u-turn this just pissed me off.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

That guy has been on my ignore list for a long time. A quick check of what you quoted him saying reminded me what got him on the list to begin with.

@Preacher : Congratulations and merry Christmas. That is a lovely present and I look forward to reading your posts on how they shoot! I think the 25 Creedmoor is probably a really nice place to be, capacity-wise. I’ve always thought a 25 Dasher would be pretty neat.

PSA: Click on a users name and you can select to “ignore” them. I use it sparingly and check the hidden posts from time to time to see if they are posting anything worthwhile to support their removal from the list.

Got my 7.5 twist 25 caliber barrels from Brux this morning, a hell of a Christmas present to me after a long wait...

Good for you! Enjoy them, PLEASE let us know how much fun and frustration you get from your gift. We all know that those two go together.

2023 has been an interesting year for me, 5 trips to the hospital, but I still managed 2 lenses for my DDSLR to shoot my wildlife photography, a new Glock in 357 Sig with all reloading components, an AR 15 in 6MM ARC with all reloading components. Best of all on the 24th my wife, daughter and grand daughter were here all day prepping the Christmas meal. My grand son and I hung out playing Legos and watching monster films. Everyone is here this afternoon for the Christmas meal.

Enjoying my retirement with my family over the Christmas holiday, it just doesn't get any better. Damn America's a great place.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Don't apologize for what you've done! Please share you experience with us so we can enjoy them too! A brothers victories are also my victories!

I've done the same with that person, hit the ignore button.
If you look back at most of his posts, they are negative.
As far as Bruce, he can do with his hard earned money as he wishes.
I PM'd him and he gave me some good advice on my 25 saum loads for a barrel I'm having done.
