Helix 6 Carbon Wrapped bbls?

I have seen the Helix Six carbon barrel blanks priced at $1200.00. Does anyone have experience with one? Im interested in why they are $450.00 more than the Proof or Bartlein carbons. Maybe its all marketing hype even more so than the whole carbon barrel market in general. I have chambered a couple of Proofs recently, and they seemed to be good barrels, both shot well. Just wondering if Helix 6 is something special or just another barrel.

You have to turn the carbon on the muzzle end….it will make a mess all over your lathe and contaminate your flush oil.

I’ve done only one and won’t ever use another
