Anyone got experience of the Magnum Research Carbon Fibre Wrapped Barrels ? How well do they shoot ?
Magnum Research tell me they have never spent money marketing the barrels, the implication being gun magazines and writers will not review the barrels unless money is first spent with them in advertising.
I am told they use Pac-Nor liners ?
Have a new unchambered Magnum Research Carbon Fibre Wrapped Barrel in 30 cal, 1-10 twist, target version i.e. no taper, been sitting around for 10 years.
Intending to put it onto an Accuracy International AW. Could make it .30-284 or keep with 308 ?
