Heavy Gun Picatinny rail extention.

I need an extension that will allow me to set the scope farther back on my Heavy Gun.
The action has a built in picatinny rail.

There are a lot of mounts and extended rails made for the AR-15 that would do the job or you. You might consider using a one-piece mount (integral rings and rail) i all you need is 2" or so; otherwise you'll need a rail extension. You can get inexpensive parts that will do the job but aren't very pretty from YHM. Larue make pretty parts that are significantly more expensive. Of course, there are other manufacturers that slot in between. You might look in the Brownell's catalog as it pretty much covers the market, then shop for the best price on your part(s) of choice.

just turn the AR riser around and be sure it clears your bolt. Also want to check and be sure the riser holds your scope in concentric alignment with the bore. Some might not.
