Hi all,

Wasn't exactly sure where to post this so apologies if it's in the wrong section.

I have a .243ai and was wondering if a standard .243win headspace gauge can be used on a .243ai case?

The "GO" gauge for the standard chamber becomes a "NO-GO" gauge for the improved chamber.

There is a great explanation in Clymers product catalog.

You need a gauge that is .004" shorter than a .243 go gauge.
