Month old thread, but the easy way without touching the action or barrel would be to surface grind the lug on the longer headspaced action by the correct amount, assuming the Farley uses a separate lug. Learned along time ago to always modify the cheapest/easiest part to replace. Would think best time would be when the longer headspaced action is getting a new barrel.
