Thanks Brett...Means a lot coming from a pro. I don't do very many and I'm far from a pro but I had a good teacher and a lot of patience for this kind of thing.

I was gonna do a basketweave around the pistol grip but I got lazy and skeered! I'll post a pic in a minute of one that a pro friend did for me several years ago now. Six different pinstripes, basketweaved around the grip and what's suppose to be a checkered flag, ripping and tearing in the wind. I've posted it before but you'll appreciate it more than most because you know how much work went into all that! I'm blessed to have two good friends who are both gifted at this work. They both have helped me a ton.

That's above my pay grade. He had over 40 hours into it. I wish I had taken pics while he was striping it off. Blue fineline tape going everywhere, in all directions. I had no concept of what it was gonna look like. It could've been a little "slicker", but I've never met a paint man that likes to wet sand and buff anything! Lol!

There were some really cool colors on some of the 50's cars. I guess everybody was tired of the black or green of the 40's
