Finished this old girl up last week for a friend. Neither of us had any idea what I was gonna do for a while but I remembered him talking fondly of his first car...a 1957 Chevy. It's the original Tropical Turquoise but I used a pearl from a late model GM and silver for the striping. Check out the little Bel Air fender louvers. Lol!
Disregard the tape around the barrel. It wasn't glued in yet, when I took these pics.

That's how it could happen, and in southern California during the days of racing for 'pinks', you better be ready for the unexpected, including walking home. Back to the topic, the colors on that rifle are like a time machine, and thanks for the trip down memory lane!
