i go to the local (40 miles). UpS dustribution center. from there i can ship 22LR- id check on ups and fed ex websites or call them.

Honestly, I think your best bet is to just sell them locally. You might be able to find someone who can legally ship them, but by the time you go through the time, hassle, and expense, it’s not going to end up being a good deal for you or the buyer. There’s just no practical way to do it while remaining inside the law.

Loaded ammo ships ORM-D or “Limited Quantity”, which is much less restrictive than hazmat. Anyone can ship ammo, you just need to print the proper labels and follow the rules for labeling the box. It can only be shipped via ground, and only by contract carrier, not USPS. UPS and Fedex retail locations probably won’t take it, so you either schedule a driver pickup, or drop it off at a hub. There may be some other rules too, but that’s the basic gist of it.

That’s what I had to do- go to nearest hub to ship that ammo.

The price for a pick up has went WAY up with UPS. 16 to 20 dollars better have more than one box,
or chase the truck through the neighborhood.
