Haydon or Hohen windage top?

Looking to update my Bald Eagle Slingshot with a windage top. I've seen the Hohen top up close, anyone have any thoughts on Russ Haydon's new top?

Here's a view of Russ Haydon's new top,without bag). The large, black plastic knob on the left controls windage.

I haven't tried it yet, but it looks very well made and Russ says customer feedback has been very positive.

How do i get ahold of Hohen? i get a message when trying to mail him that the mail cant come through.

The best way to get a hold of Ron Hohen is to call him 636-745-8144 . By the way his reat tops are great and he is a super nice guy to do business with .

I would also take a close look at Butch Lambert's top, it is really a nice addition to your rest.

+1 on Butch's top. I just got my Shadetree and it's excellent in fit, finish and functionality.

Over the years it seems I have collected like four different wind age tops. The Hohen is the one I like the best. I leave it on an old HART base and use it for narrow forearms. The stuff that Ron sells you get addicted to, cause it's all good. Ron developed his stuff as a competitive bench rest shooter. I really like his barrel tuners. It seems the man is always ahead of the curve on his stuff.
