Hawks Ridge Rain Date for Match 2

The Hawks Ridge Match 2 that was postponed earlier in the year due to weather will be held this Saturday.
The weather appears to be a little chilly but should be for another great day of small groups and High Scores .
The leaves are getting gone but some areas still have some color so it will be a beautiful ride to and from the Ridge .

Roy Hunter shamed me into making the 6.5 hour drive down. I’m glad he did. Now I just have to beat him. See you all there.

I have to give credit to old Roy. He shot really well today. He shot a 2.5” LG group which I think was smallest for the day, and he won HG Score shoot off.

I didn’t fare as well. By the end of the day I had mastered running the bolt and loading rounds with my teeth but it was difficult to fit my big nose in the trigger guard to fire the rifle.
