hawk Hill Barrels

a new barrel maker, anyone have any experience?
I'm building a new rifle and see some new players in the industry

They make great barrels, just ask the PRS guys, friend on mine has one that shoots lights out!!

T 700

I was skeptical at first but after two barrels that were absolute hammers I am sold on them. I am running one in a 6.5 x 47 Lapua and one in Dasher.

Haven't heard a bad thing about them. Only problem is that they aren't available in Australia, I'd love to try one.

My understanding is that Hawk Hill was tutored by and bought the barrel making machinery from Clay Spenser. Their barrels are top notch. I have yet to try one but only because the caliber/twist I wanted was always unavailable.
*****MY MISTAKE******
MPA in GA got the Spencer barrels machinery.

I have a 30” 300wsm truck axle from hawk hill machined by PVA, it’s a hammer. I’d use another one with out to much thought.

Spencer barrels were button rifled. Masterpiece Arms bought out Clay Spencer and his barrel making machinery and are producing MPA barrels on the same.

Hawk Hill are single point cut 4 groove Barrels.

Gradous Rifles turned me onto Hawk hill. I used them on three rifles and each of them shoot extremely well. The can be hard to get, I found them at OTM Tactical and Bugholes.

My mistake. Thought it was Hawk Hill but now that you mention it I do remember that it was Phil at MPA.
