These things are a hoot to shoot! Been playing around with a few different flat base bullets and stumbled across a bullet I never would have thought to try. A friend from our club gave me a partial box of Hornady 95gr SST flat base hunting bullets, these are complete with a crimp groove and a very looong body. These bullets are deep in the little BR case even when seated out to a .020 jump making the crimp groove about .050 above the case mouth. Played around with then and three different powders and today they really liked the H4895 and Federal 205M primers. Shot this OCW test at 200yds and these 5 sighters as well. Clearly there is a node around 28.1gr. Cant wait to try 300 yards with them and see if they hold up. I've been told FB bullets do really well out to about 500 yards.
