They are a full 1.350” in diameter so a tight Rem 700 inlet may need to opened up slightly. They are quite tight but smooth, but they do have a bit of cock on close like like most Rem 700’s. The cock on close is probably the only thing I don’t like about them. I wish he drilled the face of the action for pins in case you wanted to use a front lug. But for $905 I think they are a good value. Although the re sale on them seems very weak. I’ll be shooting mine at our LR F Championships in a couple weeks.swd,
i been thinking about getting one. What do you like about it and any dislikes. I was planning a 30BR, and initially using a 40X stock I have.
Thanks,
Tim
1.350”Aren't they also larger diameter? 1.95" seems to stick in my mind.

Eric,Thanks for the replies. I will have the action soon and have been looking for a stock. I am looking at the Remington benchrest stocks that Protecktor (bags) are now offering. I will be bedding it an was looking for some insight in the stock modifications necessary.

Stainless action w CM bolt. Lift is nice and smooth. The hanger is symmetrical. I moved the sear forward to .250” pin fall and it still has quite a bit of cock on close. How is the bolt lift? Do you have Chromoly or Stainless?
I the trigger hanger reversible for trigger timing to help with that cock on closing?
