If you have, lets hear your review.

I have always used hand held tools, but my
hands dont function as well as they use to.
Looking for an easier method. LDS

There is a long thread about this tool at cast boolits.
I think the first adopters of any Lee gadget get to be beta testers and they found a hiccup or two but it seems that Lee had a fix in the pipeline.
The last I read about it the rate of satisfaction was going up.
The folding primer tray was new to this tool but it was is now an upgrade (aka fixed the crummy trays) on the Ergo Prime. So Lee may have killed a covey of problems with one shot.

I just received mine in the mail last Saturday but I haven't had a chance to set it up and run it through its paces yet.

I have one, wish I did not. Many issues. Primer tray does not work as it should. Does not feed primers well. Planned to return mine but shipping it back was $18.00. Will sell it at a garage sale.

Until Lee can pass the positive market test on any Priming tool they produce from here on out, I would not even consider. Bought a replacement hand tray primer after wearing mine out after twenty years, packed it up after the worse 100 installed primers I have ever tried. They just plain missed the boat on that one due to poor quality, design, and obvious lack of testing.

I also went to the RCBS Bench priming tool as well. Always wanted one, uses normal RCBS shellholders. The universal RCBS hand tool I bought would not hold the soft norma 6xc brass very well. I also found an older Lee hand tool which I use for small rifle to try and extend the longevity of it.

The old Lee priming tool with the round tray I thought was a great primer tool for general reloading, whogot the idea to change what was a good tool, to a pc of *&^%^& must have been a buddy in the company that never has any good ideas. The ol buddy system

Your right about the old style lee tool
I wish they still made them Fact is i knew the guy who invented it.
He was a tool and die maker who shot benchrest.
They go on ebay for high prices well above the original cost of $12

I have seen some on ebay but if the little linkage breaks, your on your own, really wish they would bring it back.

Have yall ever really looked at anything lee made and said "now thats quality and its gonna last forever"? Even the old round tray ez prime- the part you push with is made of the cheapest chromed pot metal they could source. It just turned out to work pretty good in home use situations

I Love LEE tools!
I wore out my old chrome round tray primer and bought one of the ERGO prime units. The first version with the square tray. It took a while to get used to it, but I was still unhappy. It would double up on primers and pop the top off, and you had to hold it at a precise angle for it to work right. Then I noticed they were advertising the ERGO Prime with the trey used on the Auto prime and I thought about
buying just the new trey. Then on the LEE web site they offered to take your old chrome primer in trade and sell you a new Auto Prime for half price! So, I went for it!
I had just gotten a new Classic Cast press with the quick change base. I mounted the Auto Prime on one of the wood blocks for the base and I am now in business! It took a while to figure out how to load the tray (I wasn't aware it came off!) and it is a bit stiff from new, but once it was loaded, it works slick! It is easier to operate due to more leverage than either the original or the ERGO. All the primers are set below the case head (wasn't always the case with the original primer) and the position on the bench as well as location of operating handle are just fine! I am a happy reloader!

I do think they put the ERGO Prime on the market before it was adequately tested, but that is the only thing I have been able to complain about with all the LEE stuff I have. I am on my third LEE press ( I think the Classic Cast will be good forever) and I almost exclusively use LEE collett neck sizer dies for both Long Range BR as well as hunting ammunition and as LEE doesn't make body dies, I use a competitor die for body sizing. I have an old LEE powder scale and powder dispenser I got used when I started reloading but never used.
I did try the powder scale when I shifted to an Ohaus TS200 Magnetic Force Restoration balance. I compared the Lee scale to a couple old beam scales, an Ohaus magnetic damped and a Lymen oil damped to the TS200 and found the Lee was the most accurate of the beam scales! And, I have been using a Model 3 micrometer powder dispenser to dispense a short load and power trickle up to correct weight on the TS200. I was unhappy with the variation of the charges from the model 3 so I tried the Lee dispenser. I was very surprised that it is accurate to almost 0.1gn when the powder is in the hopper above the baffle!

Folks can bad mouth LEE all they want, but they keep me happy!

The original Lee priming tool w/the round tray was the berries. I had 4 of them in 2010 when I sold ALL of my reloading equipment. I have since last fall, got most everything back that I need except a good priming tool. The auto prime w/the square tray is definitely not like the originals, so I sold it. I bought the Ergo prime, the tray is a train wreck and it hurts my hands to use it, so thats the reason for the interest in the "LEE Bench priming tool.
I am hoping to get a few good reviews, because I like the small size, and the tray VS Tubes. I'm still listening. LDS

I had problems with my Ergo Prime double stacking small primers. I called Lee and they sent me all the parts to convert to the folding primer tray for free. It is a big improvement and works well for me.
