Wayne,

Thank you for posting this. I'm ashamed to admit it but I guess I had forgotten. I'm a 14 year career fireman whose whole family has served or is serving now in the military and I forgot that today was September 11. I do pray for our servicemen everyday of my life (including today). Thank you, Brian Brown.

Another "No and never will". I have a brother who worked in one of the towers at the time. It was a very tense time when nobody could get in contact with him after the attack. Fortunately he was in a meeting somewhere else in Manhattan at the time.

The images of the second plane hitting the tower and people jumping really got to me then and still does. I can't imagine..............

Me to my friend, I live about as far away from NY as one can get and still be in the USA and I still remember exactly where I was, what I was doing and the images that came across the T.V are burnt into my brain as vividly today as it was 10 years ago, and like you Itchy,........I just can't imagine :'(

I was in middle school and our entire school was called into the gym to watch by the time the second one hit. Still dont understand it after signing up going to their country and learning their religion still makes no sense.

I have watched the coverage today and have openly cryed watching the survivors bury their loved one's. It is really sad when your thread gets shut down for content. I wish I knew why this happened. We are all Americans who love our country and I think we have a right to express our feelings on this anniversary of this most disturbing event caused by a mad man and his cowardly army of brainwashed young people. You will notice that the men who call people to martyrdom never do the evil themselves. Pure cowardice. I will pray that our enimies come to teir sense's and our people never have to go through this again. I am also deeply endebted to all of our military and police and firefighters as they are true great americans. God bless all the first responders and all that have done their job without thought for their own safety.

No! I'll bet that almost everyone of us can remember where we were standing when we heard the news.

I was standing on the South Padre Island jetty

No and never will. Wife and I both lost professional acquaintances on Flt#93. Honored a brother Rugger was involved in the retaliatory actions on that plane. Being a "Sheep Dog" myself I would have stood beside him . Our Son is in Afghanistan with the !st right now supporting a Spec Ops group in Herat Province. He is carrying a M14 and states he is like a sniper with the 60mm mortar. Hope he is helping to "even the score"!

We in Deaver Wyoming have not forgot! I hope today will refresh all of us in America as to what is really important. God Bless the USA!

I was in a College Classroom in Basic Police Ops class. Our "teacher" reached up and turned the TV so the whole class could see the happenings. Then he said..... "This will change your world, what we do from here on out will be completely different, the way we do our jobs has just changed." He was right. Everyday I say a little prayer for those lost, and ask the 343 to watch over my brother FF's, EMS, and Law Officers as our tones go off.

A huge debt is owed to the Military for avenging the atrocities, a debt that can never be repaid. I watched my (then) 57yr old USMC Master Seargent Father, and at that time Police Officer, try to decide if he should try and return to service because he felt like he needed to do something. I had to remind him that three years in Vietnam, the duration of Desert Storm and twenty years as a police officer were probably enough...SEMPER FI!

I will never forget and I don't think this one is forgeable, but that's just me. Enough can't be said about people that gave there lives and others that put it all on the line every day to help and protect us and our freedom. God bless them all.

Thanks for the post Bozo.

I forgot to say that I was working at Kodak and was coming back from first break and bumped into 3 or 4 guys listening to one of the guys that will pull your leg all the time. He told me and I continued walking and asked my boss and showed me what happened on his tiny tv. We watched for awhile and all at once the 2nd plane hit the other tower. I knew then and there that life would be different from then and into the future. I was horrified. My boss let me go home as I was so upset,he told everyone in the building to go and be with their family's till the next day.
