Have a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40mm but need a better scope options??

Like the title says I have a Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40mm with Varmint hunter reticle I love the scope capped turrets compact but I would like a better FOV.

Use it on my AR 20 Practical on the ground squirrels up to 250 yards most in the 100-150 range it rides in side by side so I need semi compact or locking turrets. I have a PST II 3x15 on another gun & WOW the FOV and glass is so much better but it's clumbersome in the RZR so I keep it in the case and use it for my long range gun is there a scope that has the same FOV & clarity but in a smaller package-capped turrets??

10XSHOOTER, I think your missing the point. He needs a bigger FOV or "Field of View" the higher the magnification the "Smaller" the FOV...... He should go with a lower power scope. They make them just for the ARs which have a wider FOV......

You might try to hunt down a Bushnell 4200 2.5-16x. I had one of the Elite Tactical versions of this magnification. Field of view was terrific; every bit as wide as my 3-9 Leupold VX-2. All around great magnification range. It's a 30mm scope, but fairly compact for what it offers. Weight is somewhere in the 20-23 ounce range iirc for the Elite, the 4200 might shave a bit off of that.
