Hunting scope recomendation

Starting all over with a Remington 700 in 7mm magnum. New stock, action bedding etc. I've had a vortex 4-16 HS-T on it for the last year. It does good, but I'm not real pleased with the low light visibility / transmission. I have a VX 3i LRP on my 6.5 creedmoor that I really like. Originally I had my heart set on another leupold, however the general consensus is that the quality is no longer there.

What I want.
14x or greater
30 mm tube
The ability to dial, with locking turret. Capped or uncapped doesn't matter.
Side focus.
I like a lifetime warranty, but would prefer to buy an optic that I've not going to worry about The warranty on.
Budget : realistically would rather keep my eyes in the classifieds and find one in the $500 range.

Thanks

I have a Leupold VX6HD and absolutely love it. There are several member of the hunting club I belong to that have them also. To a man, everybody raves about them. I don't think you can beat the features at any price and the glass is amazing. If you don't like it, you could always sell it for almost what you paid. I replaced an older Swarovski with one and the Leupold is far superior in every way.

I also would recommend the vx6hd. I have the 3x18x44 and really like it, but you won't find one for $500. You could get a vx5hd for a little more than the $500 you wanted to spend.

I have a Sightron STAC 4-20X50.
They come with tall capped target turrets. But no zero stop.
Glass & light transmission not bad.
The paralax can be a bit touchy.

If you don't mind the 5 letter C word.
Your budget & wants are filled by Arken Optics.
People comparing them with Vortex Razors, Steiners.

Just a thought.

The arken ep4 definitely has my attention. they may be overcoming some light transmission issues with the bigger 34 mm tube. I have a mil let LRS on my 308 with the 34 mm tube. That thing is huge. I'm going to do more research about the Arken but it does fit my budget and the few reviews I've read have been stellar.
Thanks
