Have a great 4th of July

I was 9 years old when we celebrated the country’s 200th birthday. Red, white and blue everywhere. Lots of excitement and patriotism, the rodeo and parade had 1776 themes, flags all over town and up and down Main Street. It was stellar!

Things have changed a lot in 50 years but I still believe that vast majority feel the same way. Happy fourth guys and gals!
 
Our little village has an annual 4th parade. Probably our largest celebration. well over 100 parade entries and more then 3000 people show up for this. Our population is only 950. Large picnic and a huge fireworks display at dusk. Can't wait.

Same! I was 10 years old and I can remember it well. It’s really sad the direction we have turned.
