Bank of America complies. They handle Bass Pro Shops
business. I cannot get a Bass Pro credit card because
I have an FFL. Bass Pro has an FFL and is a Multi Billion
dollar business, their OK. Great Scott Shootes Produts
is a chump change business, so I'm not OK.

I hope you're right on this but the gunshop I talked to said they were having trouble now even with credit card transactions. Also, if a bank examiner comes into a bank with the threat of cancelling FDIC, I don't know how much resistance a bank would have to comply. Point being, they are not playing games any more.

I have no comment on Operation Chokepoint. (I read 30 seconds of wiki...so I get the idea)

But as far as the video link goes, I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of Michael Maloney's mouth. I went to his website. He's supposed to be a financial guru of some sort. I'm a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and a ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant)...and I can tell you for certain the guy is a hustler. I've seen it all before.

Among a few things, he is what we in the industry call a 'Gold Bug'. Someone who constantly uses fear and greed tactics to get you to buy or sell gold (and other precious metals/commodities) ...hopefully through his company!! Guys like this sound VERY confident, use complex terms the average person won't understand...all to sound impressive. And bait you just enough to sign up ($$$) for his newsletter.

His speeches/presentations are not meant to inform...they're meant to persuade. ...persuade you to do what he wants. They're sales propaganda..that's all. To the average person, he sure sounds like he knows what he's talking about..boy, he must be right?

So whatever he has to say on Operation Chokepoint....I'm not listening to him. An unknown percentage of what he says is filled with distortions and half truths.

It only took 10 seconds on his website for me to conclude he is to be avoided. If you want to retire poor and be one of those "liberal freeloaders" (as so often mentioned on this forum), soaking up govt programs during your golden years: keep listening to this guy.

Very respectfully sir, I've seen too many of these "conspiracy theories" come to pass. All I have to do is look at the U.S. debt clock to know where we are headed if something doesn't change. Fear mongering?
