Years ago when I was living in Houston, I helped the HPD bomb squad with some testing of a water cannon. Became friends with several of them. One of them told me "If you have to shoot someone who is breaking in to your place, keep shooting until he's dead, drag him inside, and call me". ;-)

I hope you don't take that advice. Suppose he doesn't answer the phone. You think a real investigator can't tell you dragged a bleeding person into your house. Wait until he gets inside. Plus these days it will probably be on Youtube later. Good luck.
