I have tried it in 6ppc and it seems good but not in a 6br with 68 grain flat base bullets in lapua cases with wolf primers. Just curious if anyone has done any in depth testing with LT-32.
Johnbearman,
Lt-32 works very well with the Berger 68 in my 14 twist 6 BR. I found a node at 29.8 grains, but approach this load with the usual caution. I want to try the Column bullets as they worked best with LT-32 in my 6PPC.
Good shooting

I've had good results with Berger 68FB, Bart 68BT, Hottenstein 68BT, Bart 66FB, and Bart 65BT. I haven't done any really serious workups because when I reach a good shooter, I quit. My 14-twist seems to like them jumped 9-thou or thereabouts. All seem to like somewhere around 28.4 (52 clicks) LT-32 and BR4 or CCI 450s.
when widener's first offered LT 32 i just had to buy some having read of it's history. next was to build a 6BR to see if it would shoot lighter bullets, realizing it was really designed for the 6 PPC. PT&G reamer .2704 neck, kreiger and load development , then to the range. it didn't take long for me to realize this powder would shoot beautifully in the 6 BR. 60 gr bullets 30.2-30.6 gr and 3500+ fps with all bullets .020 into the lands. 64-65 gr also 3500+ with 30-30.2 gr. 68 watson/cheek/bergers went 3300-3450 fps and all these loads shot in the ones and twos with occ zeros!! due to it's burn rate, i was concerned about pressure spikes as the load increased, but noted the mvs went up gradually and so far, no sudden pressure signs. i increased loads by .2 gr in all cases. i'm glad i bought 8#.
