Where are you buying from? Grafs has all manner of SK in stock, I just found out Champions Choice is closed. Natchez has ammo

I looked at, Buds Guns and Good shooting inc. and a couple of, other online sellers, were looking, "short" ! Just trying to, give, a "Heads up" in case, "hoarding" starts coming back,. might be,. "nothing" ??

Budsgunshop appears to be still out of most of, the Mid Priced, "good Stuff" in .22 LR but, Goodshootinginc.com,.. has "everything" stocked up, again.
@ Knotwild,. I don't shoot, Aguila as have never, studied what's,.. "good" !

It's OK stuff Lefty. Many years ago I was buying cases after reading an article in precision shooting of standard after they had been "discovered" for $138.00 shipped, and it shot great! This was for a case of 5000. That stuff in the early days would "for the price" make ELY a non factor. Been a while though and it does make a difference when everything is new

It doesn't do anything for prices today, but maybe it can wake some manufacturers up but probably not. Sorry but I hate that Remington and Winchester have dropped us like a hot rock

I have all kinds of Aguila today but none of it measures up to that early stuff. I have Rifle match, Pistol match and everything in between but none of that shit comes close to what was available early on as "standard". I had 2 cases of it in the earlier times but it lacked quite a bit after that. It just means to me that they are capable, they just don't give a shit. Which is where we are with .22 LR ammo. It is all in the upkeep of the machines! If that is paid attention to we could have good ammo at a decent price but Winchester and Remington choose to make stuff on antiquated equipment that still just makes ammo

@ biggun,. there's a whole discussion on Match Bullets, just below these posts at, the bottom, under similar threads, talking about, American "Match" ammo !
And why, "we" can't get descent stuff made here, in the USA, an interesting "read" !
I bought, 3 Bricks of Mid priced, Match ammo, over the week end,. 1 Brick of Wolf ME, 1 Brick of, SK Pistol Match and another of, SK long Range to try in my new GM Barrel that, goes on my Ruger 10/22 ( it's NOT, a "match" Rifle ! ) but, I wanted to see how "good" it can shoot with, some mid priced, descent Match type ammo for chits and giggles ! I'm trying to build, a "Poor mans",.. KIDD ( only got, $850.00 "tied up" in it, so far,..LOL ! ) The Bbl. gets here, Thursday ! Hey, it's something to do and I'm having Fun playing, GunSmith, AGAIN !

I have an increasing supply of ammo to use in my 22 cal. revolvers! Don't have to worry about FTE with them and it's fun to plink with all the junk being sold as match ammo these days. If I need to improve my shooting with the revolvers I just move a few feet closer(I draw the line at 5 feet)!

@ Boom,.. I had one, FTE with, my Ruger semi, in several hundred rounds and early on, I had one, miss fire with, 35 year old ammo ( old factory, F-pin ). I changed to, a new Volquartsen F-pin and Extractor and not one, since ! Yup, revolvers are fun, I still have, my Dad's, S & W .38 spl. that, I load 125 gr JHP's @ 1,000 FPS for, and it shoot's, great ! Gave, my 3 grandsons, my other .22 Pistols and Rifles, tho ! Glad you are having Fun, too !
I draw the "line" at, $8.00 per 50 for 22 LR ammo as, I don't have, an expensive "Target gun". I sailed, a slug past ( behind ), a Sage rat the other day ( he didn't notice it ! ) and I quickly gave him a "Double Tap",.. dead rat ! Love that,.. Ruger, semi !

@ JSH & USMCDOC,. Yup,. Thankfully, I bought, a bunch of Ammo 3-4 weeks ago, NOW, with, Sage Rat "season" being open, all the "good stuff" is gone, here in Idaho ! The store of CCI 36 HP's and 555 36 gr Winchesters are, seriously depleted ! I found, a great shooting box of Fed Auto Match and went back and bought ALL, the rest of THAT lot # ( Me,.. Bad ! ). I sure do hope that, it shoots well in, my New GM barrel ! Got 3 Bricks of, various SK, Mid priced, Match ammo coming, in the next 2 Days for testing out, my New bbl. PS; Winchester must be, doing something "right" finally, as their 36 grain HP's Bulk 555's, shoot great and blows, a Sage Rat almost, in half ! Asking for a Friend,.. how many rounds of Ammo owned, BEFORE being, Branded as, a "Gun NUT" ???

I don't think there is such thing as too much Rimfire ammo as we as customers have no way to reload or produce that ourselves

I am lucky to have good friends. If one of us finds a deal we let the others know. I shot a lot of Wolf,RWS,Eley and CCI standard. If a deal was found I usually went in for a case. Some called me a hoarder. If you shoot that much, your not a hoarder.
I know what I like and what I use. So I will buy when the price is good.
Hey, it doesn’t eat or crap on the floor and is easily stored for future use.
Buddy and I bought a box of WW 55 FMJ bullets years ago, something like 30750 it was an odd number. At .03 per bullet we thought that was a large supply. Now we wish we had bought more.

Stay safe and healthy folks.
