Has anyone got a .223 custom rifle repeater with detachable magazine??

Hey

As the subject says ??

I´m looking in to build such a rifle with a Surgeon RSR action, since they offer it with a .223 boltface. Does anyone have such a setup with either a H-S clip or AI clip ?

Im conserned about feeding.

Or has anyone such a setup with another custom action, what are your oppinions ?

best regards

From what I've read the new plastic AICS .223 mags work great. No direct experience though, all my .223 guns are AR-15's

My sako- 75 in 20 duster 222 improved and necked to 20 caliber feeds fine.

A .223 will feed with no issues.

Lani,
contact Gary Elesio at Competition shooting stuff and hav an R5 repeater kit made for you. you wont regret it. he designed his own mags. you get two and a sled in the kit.

Thanks for the replies.

I decided to go for the Surgeon RSR with .223 boltface, Badger bottom metal and they new .223 AI magazine.
