Harris bipods

OP Asked about bipod size and Harris. That's what I would answer to and ignore the digression.

I actually like smaller than 6-9". There is one that's like 3-6" or something like that. I have one and the 6-9" Harris and a longer one that you use sitting. It depends on what you use it for. Since there was no original description of what it might be used for, the answer is ...the length that best fits your uses.

Make sure you buy the Harris Brand, there are several knock offs out their. I have personally met Mrs. Harris at the Shot Show. She has been very supportive to the shooting sports. I try to take my business to companies who support shooting. The Chinese knock offs are not Harris.

I second this.

Best of luck with that.
Six Jammer: Why don't you go enjoy shooting your Norinco toys. When I can I buy American Products, made by American Companies. If I remember when this thread started it was about shooting products not Apple Computers. I will not waste my time with your disruption to this thread. The Harris company has supported the NRA, SCI, RMEF, QDMA, and a host of other state and local shooting clubs. Their product has been knocked off and many who are looking for a bipod don't know what they are buying when they buy a knock off product.

Since you were rude enough to bring politics into a non-political thread, I'll state mine: I prefer goods made overseas.

Apple computers are an excellent example of the top end of Chinese goods. And they're better than anything put out in the U.S. I am, in fact, typing this on an Apple laptop.

That's a silly comment that has nothing to do with this thread.

I have three Harris bipods, two 6"-9", one 13"-27", I haven't used the long one in years but it is very handy for high grass, etc. I bought my first one in 1969 which is the tall one and the other two in the 70's and 80's. One 6"-9" has the notched legs and the other one is the locking legs, the tall just extends to it's longest length and locks there. Of the three I use the 6"-9" with the notched legs 99% of the time for my varmint hunting and I do shoot off the bench with it occasionally.
