I've got a question. If I loosen the bolts on the bottom of the press will it allow for me room to clamp on bench. My bench is wide than this will open up.

i figured i probably could but i didnt want to mess anything up. So i figured it would be better to ask first

Hey Fellers, I hate for anyone to see my messy bench right now but the easiest thing to do is add a 18" piece of 3/4" plywood however long you need it to mount your portable presses to. Just screw it to the top of the bench and leave 3" or so sticking over the edge... it's solid as a rock... John IMG_20240218_164932746.jpg

Everything going on in that room and on that bench warms my heart. Super clean and clinical reloading rooms just don't do it for me.

This is what I would do, I do the same thing when I take it to a new range I have never been too. I always have the piece of plywood and a couple of large C-clamps so if the benches or table is too thick for my press's clamp, I then mount the board and clamp the press to that.
