Harrell's Precision scope rings

Was wondering if anyone have tried these rings? I didn't know Harrell's made scope rings, but based on the rave reviews of their dies I have to think they would be high quality.

The only place I've ever seen them is on the PMA Tool website. 30mm single screw rings retail for $60.95, which is a fantastic price. That is about $40 less than the cost of similar Kelby rings.

They are as good as they look and for the price, I'm not sure they can be beat. I haven't mounted mine yet because I'm still looking for a new scope. I like my rings shiny to match the action so I am having mine polished. I'm also going to try anodizing them after being polished to try to make the polish more maintenance free..

I love my Kelbly rings too, they are top notch and by far the benchmark. But these new ones from Harrells fall right in line without having the bead blast finish that (IMPO has absolutely got to be polished off). The Harrells have a nice machined finish that is easily polished if you want to do it, but you really don't have to. The tool marks are minimal and are not at all obtrusive or unattractive. There were two tiny burrs on my set and I removed them easily with my pocket knife, not nearly enough to bother me as a user, or as the guy trying to sell them.
My friend who is a long time benchrest shooter saw them and was quite impressed. If you know him, you'd know he isn't impressed by much.

We might add polishing as an option for $20 and anodizing in black or silver for $15 if my set works out.
