Harrells or Chargemaster

I am looking to upgrade my powder measurement system and have a question. What are the pros and cons of buying a Harrell's powder measure vs a RCBS Chargemaster. They are similarly priced so why would you buy one over the other? Opinions please.

Harrell's if you want to throw charges at the range. It throws by volumne, not weight. It is hard to aregue withthe results, hough as the BR guys turn in sone awesome results.

Chargemaster if you are throwing charges at home. It will weigh each charge after it is thrown and I believe is the more accurate of the two. I have one and use it in ALL reloading.

Do a search on ChargeMaster for a LOT of information on it.

I have both. I load for PD hunting with my Harrells, mostly 204s and 20 Tactical, these are my volume guns. I load less than max in both so if the weight happens to vary slightly either above or below a PD never knows the difference. If i'm load developing or loading for my 6.5-284, I want to weigh every charge, I use the chargemaster. Both are good pieces of equipment. It just depends on how fast you want to get it done.

Mechanical powder measures all have trouble with the coarse powders. The Harrell is no different in that respect. BR shooters typically use easily metered powders, and the Harrell works fine for them. If you 're using the stick powders, the ChargeMaster will provide better results.
