You are blessed. Grandparents are an important part of their Grandkids upbringing. They know and understand what a family is with the Grandparents around.

Spent the day at the track yesterday with my wife and sons watching Nostalgic Top Fuel.

Today is shooting suppressed stuff and son is cooking for me.

I wish my father was here today. He passed 17 years ago at age 88.

After serving in WWII as a Lieutenant in the Army, he got a Ph.D in Art History then became a professor. He was a very good artist and did some incredibly impressive architectural renderings. Here is one of his paintings ... the Oregon Coast.

Just pulled a 22 pound brisket from the smoker. 14 hours at 185 to 200 over mesquite. It cuts with a fork( had to try it to make sure it passed quality standards, it exceeds!). My bride has red beans and her awesome potatoe salad in the works. Waiting for the kids and grandkids for what will be a fun Fathers Day. Hope y'all are having the same kind of day.
