You'll notice the OP didn't include that in the initial post and didn't provide that info until after that post you quoted. With his 12 twist. He is limited to about a 60- 64 grain bullet. Max.

Graymist was a great source of loads and fireforming before his post disappeared off the web. I was able to grab screen shots of his loads before they were gone forever (without the photos). I also have some blue dot loads for 223, that you could adjust for your AI. PM me if you want either.Wondering if anybody has any pet loads or should I say very accurate loads for this caliber?

I have just received mine built on a Stiller Tac 30 with a 24” ABC barrel with a 1-7” twist. My hope is that I will be able to work up a load for the Berger 85.5 Hybrid. Any idea of potential powders and range of loads? Primer choice? Brass will be Lapua. Not trying to hijack this thread ,hopefully I’m not, but help would be appreciated.
You don't get vibration from it on the table?some laugh....but that $20 umbrella works nice...
I have yet to see a more accurate load from my 223 improved I love that combo reloader15 / 77 gn hpbt.. Looook OUT!! HAHA.. I do find I prefer the Remington 7 1/2 SRBR primers, but definitely try them all oh I have a 26" Pac nor tank barrel haha.. 1in7 twistReloader 15 23.5 grains. Sierra Matchking 77gr HPBT. Federal 205 M primer and Winchester brass shoots consistent 1/4 MOA out to 700 yards from my surgeon 591 r action, krieger 1x8 x28 inch barrel sitting in HS precision stock. I have over 1200 rounds down the tube and still capable of 1400 yard steel targets. Muzzle velocity 2950. You can easily push faster due to increased case capacity to 3090 but accuracy suffers, at least with current powder. Lapua brass wasn't available when I had mine built, would be the only component I would change at this point. Enjoy the cartridge.
