Looking for someone who is knows how to trouble shoot and fix a hall centerfire bolt. First when it failed me I could get it to fire by resetting bolt. now it just will not set trigger. thanks Chuck

Sounds more like a trigger problem.

I have tried 2 jewell triggers

Did you set them for the bolt or just stick them in and cross your fingers.... just saying they do come with directions for setting...

Are you saying when you close the bolt, from an open position, the trigger is not holding the firing pin to the rear cocked position?

I end up with a weak strike and then i lift bolt put it back down and then it works it use to be every 25 rounds or so now it is more often

alan has no parts. he hasn't had anything for 25 years or so. ask me how I know!!!
Dusty Stevens had me get a remington 600 spring for the Hall centerfires from Wolf gunsprings to fix the issue. they are like 8-9 dollars, but you might have a couple 3 weeks wait time. they are a pain to replace the spring but some on here might be able help do it for you- worth every penny??? carlsbad comes to mind and he might have a spring in stock??? @carlsbad
